2013 Rogers Explorers at University of the Cumberlands
The second class of 2013 Rogers Explorers arrived on the campus of the University of the Cumberlands (UofC) in Williamsburg yesterday and will remain there through Friday. Thirty-one students from 16 Kentucky communities checked in at the dining hall shortly after 1 p.m. to get their room assignments and later took a tour of the campus. After dinner, Explorers loaded on a bus to go out into the community to pick up roadside litter as part of a community service project. Today’s agenda will include classroom sessions with UofC professors in math, science, and technology and a videoconference with NASA officials.
