2022 Rogers Scholar Raelan Rose donates supplies to Wolfe Co. Animal Shelter

2022 Rogers Scholar Raelan Rose donated her time and supplies to the Wolfe County Animal Shelter for her community service project. Raelan, a student at Wolfe County High School, volunteered to help walk the dogs and donated dog food and treats. “This project meant a lot to me, because of my love for animals. I’ve been wanting to come and contribute to the animal shelter for many years, and this has been a perfect opportunity to start.” Graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program are required to complete a community service project.
