2022 Rogers Scholar Ellie Cheatham donates food to Green River Animal Shelter

2022 Rogers Scholar and Adair County High School student Ellie Cheatham loves animals. That’s why Ellie decided to organize a community fundraiser for the Green River Animal Shelter. “This project meant the world to me because I have always loved animals. Knowing I was able to help the shelter when they needed it most, gave me so much joy. It’s not often they get large donations, and I’m glad I was able to be a part of this project.” Graduates of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program are required to complete a community service project.
