2020 Rogers Scholar Drew Hurley, in partnership with Pike County High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), organized a paper goods drive for West Care Homeless Shelter. “I had been looking for a good, impactful community service project for months, but the opportunity never seemed to present itself. I love helping my local community in any way I can and to organize such a large donation effort is a great way to give back.” Each graduate of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program is required to complete a community service project.
